on earth about 80% of it is pure water . We have tried to discover new things down there how ever the ocean is so deep that there is a limit of how low we can go . The ocean is cut up into layers. The lower you go down there there is going to be less sunlight. It you go to deep in the water the pressure get more and more so you are able to die.
